Overview
Enhance the value of your videos by creating new assets from static images. Use these images to build carousels and create static posts for better engagement.
Finding Source Video Files
Navigate to your Deliverables section or any Media Gallery area within gen.video to find the video from which you want to select still images. Open the specific media to continue.
Selecting the Source media
Once you are on a media detail page you'll be ready to start looking at various images.
Click on the video title to access your media page.
Click on `thumbnail` to open a media tray with high-resolution images.
Select from a variety of high-resolution images.
Adding Media to an Album
Select desired image that you are wanting to use later. Click the three-dot menu on an image and then click Add to Album. In the modal, choose New Album. Type the name of the folder so that it is handy for you later. For instance, the use-case for your editorial calendar or media campaign.
You can also provide a short description so you can recall how you plan on using the assets later.
Click CREATE ALBUM. This will save the Album within the Workspace you are currently active within.
Add to an Existing Album
Click the three-dot menu on an image.
Click Add to Album.
Select the existing album from the dropdown menu.
Click Add to Album to confirm. You can access your albums from the main Workspace Media section by clicking on the tab Album.
